"They’ve shared the fashion limelight from New York to Paris but Australian model Jessica Gomes says she doesn’t expect to see her close friend Gemma Ward back on the modelling circuit for some time. “Gemma is taking a break away from modelling after Heath (Ledger) passed away,” Gomes said. It is more than a year since the actor’s death yet Ward’s grief shows no sign of lifting. Gomes and Ward, both Perth girls, were on holiday together at Byron Bay when a curvaceous Ward was photographed emerging from the surf in a swimsuit last month. Ward, who was linked to the actor at the time of his death and has not modelled since, is yet to indicate when or if she’ll be returning to the business and was conspicuously absent from New York Fashion Week this week.'
I was looking through my scrapbooks and saw numerous pictures of my favourite, Gemma. Surfing on the web, I read some shocking news, namely that Gemma. W is taking an another break, a long break and there is a possibility for her not to return. The fashion world isn't complete without the best model ever, Gemma Ward, it's undeniable. 'She embodies everything gorgeous, enviable and vital about youth. She has graced more catwalks and shot more editorial than you shake a shakey stick at.' I hope she has a speedy recovery and takes the lead being flawless and beautiful.

''FS casually photographs the people he encounters on the street, and who inspire him. Unlike many other (fashion) street photographers, FS does not focus exclusively on people’s clothing. Amidst the concrete, decay, and construction, FS depicts a city of elegance, beauty and style''
Graphic Designer from the Netherlands based in London. I like writing and discovering! I Dismally adore my muses, Babette et Milos who are blessed with a skin of opalescent luminosity, cheekbones you could open the post with and exceptional loveliness. I have always had and still have a funny, odd obsession with the colour maroon, burgundy, a dark reddish brown to dark purplish red colour like dark wine and blood. It's an indescribable feeling I get when I see, feel, sense this colour. ''It unconsciously yet vividly drags me away into the murky and fantastical eccentric odyssey''. It makes my heart beat twice as fast and it gives me an intense boost of inspiration and determination. It has been proven that this colour can have a physical effect, increasing the rate of respiration and raising blood pressure. In some cultures it denotes purity, joy and celebration they say. It's the epitome of colour! -F.S-
